The Northern Illinois Street Rod Association (NILSRA) was founded in 1970

A potential member is required to attend three monthly meetings or events, be voted in by a majority of the members.We are seeking members that want to participate in club functions and events, whether it is as an officer or, as an always needed volunteer to help at shows.  The club is run using Roberts Rules and officers are elected each year.  No one can serve as president for more than two years.  

The offices, of treasure and secretary, are volunteer, not elected offices.  Dues of $25 are collected from members each year.
